Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is a European Union funding programme that supports teachers, staff, and adult educators to travel abroad for professional development. Grants partly cover the cost of their stay, allowing participants to improve their skills and gain valuable international experience.

At Patrick’s English Academy, we offer Erasmus+ participants  CLIL, General English language tuition and immersive Irish cultural experiences. Our courses are designed specifically for adult educators and staff working in lifelong learning and community education.

Applications to the Erasmus+ programme should be made through your institution or organisation. Please check with your institution about their participation in the Erasmus+ grant.

Patrick’s English Academy will be happy to provide you with proof of enrolment or any necessary documentation to support your Erasmus+ application. If we haven’t already, we will work closely with your organisation to draft a tailored Mobility Agreement to ensure a smooth process.

We offer two types of courses which are suitable for Erasmus+

Our CLIL + Irish Culture course is designed to empower educators with the skills and knowledge to deliver content and language teaching simultaneously, enhancing both linguistic competence and subject understanding.

Our General English + Irish Culture course is designed for adult educators and staff who wish to develop their English language skills while gaining a deeper understanding of Irish culture, society, and intercultural communication. Combining structured language learning with immersive cultural experiences, the programme provides a dynamic and supportive environment for professional and personal development.
