About Us
Patrick’s Academy was founded by Cork teacher Patrick McCarthy, whose unique teaching method has established him as one Cork’s leading English teachers.
Patrick understands the difficulties of language learning better than anyone. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and has taught students in English schools in both Spain and Cork for almost 10 years. Our teaching philosophy is greatly influenced by these experiences.
After many years both teaching English and learning Spanish, I have developed a style of teaching which demands the student to participate at every moment in the class. In our classes students learn English in a practical way, your class will become ‘the real world’. If you are motivated and prepared to work hard, then Patrick’s English Academy is for you.
